How would you describe yourself?

I’ve always resonated with being a visionary- asking lots of questions and imagining what could be. In my heart I am a Christian, artist, photographer, graphic designer & poet.  All of these avenues pave the way for me to continue my own healing and share the message of how freeing it can be to surrender and trust God. I have professionally practiced graphic design, interior design and biblical counseling and Sense & Sanity gives me a way to blend all of these interests with beauty and purpose.

What lights you up?

I have been committed to a healthy lifestyle 10+ years. Struggling with anxiety, depression and a laundry list of physical ailments most of my life, it has been both beautiful and ugly - but oh so WORTH IT! I have found that taking a mind, body, spirit approach to healing has been the most beneficial path for me, so I created this Sense & Sanity wellness shop with that balance in mind. 

What are you surprisingly good at?

I am what they call an ‘over-researcher’. It’s both a blessing and curse. Because of my physical ailments, I’ve had to read every ingredient on every label. Because I am a recovering perfectionist, I still want to find the “perfect” product for me, leading me to research ALL the options. There isn’t anything in this shop that I wouldn’t use myself. They have to be beautiful, clean and high quality or they don’t make it through the door.

What are the things you can’t live without?

Prayer, hot green tea, pilates, my husband’s jokes, and Bella my Snow Bengal Cat (Yes, you should definitely follow her @snowbengalbella) 

What is currently on your nightstand?

iPhone, Bible, an ever-running to-do list, crossword puzzle book, a gift card I keep forgetting to use, 3 books I keep meaning to read, and a knocked over water bottle (compliments of my water-obsessed kitty, Bella)
