Preserving the Ethnosphere
In this stunning talk, National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence Wade Davis celebrates the extraordinary diversity of the world's indigenous cultures, many of which are disappearing, as ancestral land is lost and languages die. (50 percent of the world's 6000 languages are no longer taught to children.) Against a backdrop of extraordinary photos and stories that ignite the imagination, Davis argues that we should be concerned not only for preserving the biosphere, but also the "ethnosphere," which he describes as "the sum total of all thoughts and dreams, myths, ideas, inspirations, intuitions brought into being by the human imagination since the dawn of consciousness." An anthropologist and botanist by training, Davis has traveled the world, living among indigenous cultures. He's written several books, including The Serpent and the Rainbow and Light at the Edge of the World. (Recorded February 2003 in Monterey, CA. Duration: 22:44)

Bill Hicks Legendery One Night Stand
From 1990.
Bill Hicks knew how to tell the truth about the world and make people laugh at the same time.
Truly a great comic genius and a teacher if you can hear his message through all the jokes.

MIchael Tsarion
This 3.5 Hour presentation contains more truth than most people will hear in their lifetime.
Yet I don't agree with everything he says here, and we should be as critical with his presentation as we are when we view the mainstream media or culturally accepted morals and norms. Unlike the mainstream media of what is culturally accepted as 'truth' or mainstream fact, Michael doesn't bully you or coerce you into agreeing with him. He only asks you to open up your mind and consider the infinite possibilities there are which can lead you to discover your own understanding of what truth is.
The hidden and occult history and secret societies which control the world is a fascinating topic of study in itself. Yet too many people get stuck there, and while they have an encyclopedic knowledge of the history of the Illuminati and freemasonry what has their research done to improve society or even the individuals who have sought out this information. It many cases it has only fuelled their fears and anxieties and given rise to more feelings of powerlessness. While it is important to know the truth of the political machinations of these evil oligarchies it is more important to realize that the manipulation begins and ends in each one of us own consciousness. This is the difference between Tsarion and other researchers, he points out that the war is on your own consciousness, he asks you to reflect on your own soul and to find what meaning and truth you can make out of the madness.
By not looking at the darkness of our own souls: by not reflecting on our own lies, pettiness, jealousy ,hatred and anger we are complicit in ever horrendous atrocity of this world. People would rather distract themselves with fake news about Paris Hilton or the fear-mongering bullshit which calls itself the mainstream media...than to face the truth -that they themselves are responsible for the violence and insanity of the world.

Breaking the Silence
Breaking The Silence - Truth and Lies in the War on Terror (HQ Copy) by John Pilger
John Pilger dissects the truth and lies in the 'war ... all » on terror'. Award-winning journalist John Pilger investigates the discrepancies between American and British claims for the 'war on terror' and the facts on the ground as he finds them in Afghanistan and Washington, DC. In 2001, as the bombs began to drop, George W. Bush promised Afghanistan "the generosity of America and its allies". Now, the familiar old warlords are regaining power, religious fundamentalism is renewing its grip and military skirmishes continue routinely. In "liberated" Afghanistan, America has its military base and pipeline access, while the people have the warlords who are, says one woman, "in many ways worse than the Taliban". In Washington, Pilger conducts a series of remarkable interviews with William Kristol, editor of The Weekly Standard, and leading Administration officials such as Douglas Feith, Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, and John Bolton, Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security. These people, and the other architects of the Project for the New American Century, were dismissed as 'the crazies' by the first Bush Administration in the early 90s when they first presented their ideas for pre-emptive strikes and world domination. Pilger also interviews presidential candidate General Wesley Clark, and former intelligence officers, all the while raising searching questions about the real motives for the 'war on terror'While President Bush refers to the US attacks on Afghanistan and Iraq as two 'great victories', Pilger asks the question - victories over whom, and for what purpose? Pilger describes Afghanistan as a country "more devastated than anything I have seen since Pol Pot's Cambodia". He finds that Al-Qaida has not been defeated and that the Taliban is re-emerging. And of the "victory" in Iraq, he asks: "Is this Bush's Vietnam?"
